Each one is something I noticed inside a real business's email or sales system, what it was costing, and what changed. Names come off unless the client says otherwise.

Every note

  1. They already told you.

Applicants to a $9,000 program spent twenty minutes on video explaining exactly what they wanted. The follow-up emails never used a word of it.

  2. No door to walk through.

The daily emails were read, liked and never linked to anything. Adding links where products came up matched 30 days of sales in two days.

    2 days matched 30

  3. The chatbot in the corner.

The opt-in rate slid from 3% to under 2% and nobody knew why. A chatbot with three orders in six months was sitting on top of the sign-up box.

    under 2% → 3%

  4. Point A to point B.

SPI Media moved its courses into a membership and worried buyers would balk at a recurring charge. The launch beat its sales target by about 40%.

    about 40% over target

  5. Room on the calendar.

Common Thread Collective's sales team had time for more calls. Putting the application where buyers already read lifted quarterly inbound leads 780.5%.

    780.5% more quarterly leads

  6. Cold traffic, warm list.

Facebook ads were filling Guitar Institute's list. Subscribers who'd been asked what they needed bought at 15%, against 4% for cold traffic.

    almost 4× the conversions
